• Super Savings Tips from Shoppers

Some of the best savings advice comes from the expert shoppers who use this website to save time and money in their pursuit of dramatic savings!  I thought I'd share a few of the best tips with you so you can save even more money. . .
Save big with magazine coupons, from Elizabeth Horton of Pigeon, Michigan:

"All You" magazine has numerous coupons in it. Lots of them are for $1.00 on many desirable items and when I use them at a grocery store that doubles $1.00 coupons I frequently get many items free. You can buy the magazine at Wal-Mart for $1.77 per issue or subscribe at www.allyou.com 12 Issues for $21.24. The money I spend on my subscription is paid for many times over by the coupons I've used.
Get weekly coupon & rebate items for holiday gifts, from Tina Smith of Atlanta, Georgia:
"Go into stores or check the ads for Linen and Things and Bed, Bath and Beyond each week to see items that are available with a generous rebate.  I look for lower-priced items with decent rebates, such as a $30 Pyrex set with a $10 rebate or a $20 stir-fry pan or griddle with a $10 rebate.  Use your 20% off one item coupon which is applied to the pre-rebate full price, and send in the rebate immediately so you don't forget.  They accept each other's coupons if you only have one store's coupon.  You will end up paying about 70% off for a good gift item, without having to stand in line at Black Friday sales!  By the time the holidays roll around, you will have a few good-quality gifts that anyone can use at a very low cost."
Stock up on Free After Rebate items for holiday gifts, from Betsy Kiger of Arlington, Virginia:
"Review the ads for Staples, Walgreens, CVS, and other office supply stores that advertise "free after rebate" items each week.  Last year I got a paper shredder, free software, and other small useful items that were perfect for making gift baskets or using for stocking stuffers.  They are a great way to stretch your holiday gift budget!"
Shop at grocery stores that accept competitors' coupons and stack the savings with multiple coupons, from Stephanie Nelson, Marietta, Georgia.
"Okay, this is my suggestion but it is a big saver.  Ask your grocery stores if they accept competitors' coupons.  If they do, they probably don't advertise that they do so you have to ask.  If you find one, then keep your eyes open for any kind of grocery or drug competitor coupon.  Watch for direct mail pieces, ads in the Sunday paper for other stores, and look through the packet of flyers that you receive in the mail every week.  Just this week I received a $5 off $25 order coupon from Target in the mail, found a $16 off $160 order coupon from Kmart in the flyer mailing, and I had a $5 off coupon for Kroger in my Entertainment Book.  By shopping at my preferred grocery store and stocking up on coupon deals, I was able to use all 3 competing store coupons along with my grocery coupons that were doubled, getting the $160 total down to less than $80."
