Rite Aid Super Savings Strategies

The Coupon Mom’s Secrets to Saving Big at Rite Aid

Get Freebies every week if you know the right strategies

1.  Find the deals easily. The Coupon Mom “Rite Aid Deals” list is designed to make it very easy for you to find their best bargains by combining all available savings programs, including Sale prices, Manufacturers Coupons, Store Coupons, +UP Rewards and printable coupons. We’ve already done the work of combining promotions and coupons for you.  Click on the Grocery Deals by State page, then click on the Rite Aid logo.  After logging in, you’ll be taken to the Rite Aid Deals List for the current week.  We list the deals in order of percentage saved so you can quickly see which items have the most dramatic savings.  Some items are even going to be free when you follow our system.

2. Earn a discount for one year. Sign up for a Wellness+ Rewards Card and register it online at RiteAid.com. Earn a Wellness+ Rewards point for every dollar spent at Rite Aid after store coupons and store rewards are deducted. 250 points = Bronze level: 10% discount on all Rite Aid brand products for a year, 500 points =Silver level:  10% discount on all store products (at full price) for a year, 1000 points =Gold level:  20% discount on all store products (at full price) for a year. Even though it seems like spending $1,000 in a year at one store is high, keep in mind that if you fill your prescriptions at Rite Aid that the full cost of the prescription is credited toward your total, even if your co-pay is lower.  For example, if your co-pay is $20 and the prescription costs $150, you’ll get $150 credited toward your $1,000 goal.

3. Watch Videos for store coupons. RiteAid.com has a section called “Video Values” where you can watch short product videos and then print a store coupon for the product. Stack these coupons along with manufacturers’ coupons to save even more.  You can also find store coupons in the weekly ad.

4. Use Manufacturers coupons.  Rite Aid accepts manufacturer’s coupons, such as the coupons found in the Sunday paper, magazines, and printed online.  When you combine, or “stack” these coupons with store coupons and +UP Reward promotions, you’ll get items free.

5. Get Digital Load2Card Coupons. You can get manufacturers coupons in a digital format from RiteAid.com.  Look for “Load2Card” on the website to find dozens of coupons you can click to add to your Wellness+ Rewards Card.  When you buy the item, the coupon value will be deducted automatically at the register—no paper coupon necessary.

6. Turn +UP Rewards into cash. Earn +UP Rewards, which are like automatic rebates, when you buy participating items.  Your reward prints on your receipt or can be added to your online Wellness+ Rewards account.  You can redeem your reward as soon as 6 am the day after you receive it. Shop regularly at Rite Aid to use your +UP Rewards as they expire 2 weeks after you receive them.

7. Stack the Savings to make a Profit.  Here is an example. If the +UP Promotion is: “Get $10 +UP Reward when you spend $25 on Schick products,” then you could purchase 3 Schick Hydro 5 Disposable Razors 3 ct. for $10.99 regular price = $32.97. Use three in-ad store coupons @ $4 each (less $12). Plus, use three manufacturers’ coupons @ $4 each (less $12). You will pay $8.97 at the register for all 3 razors and get a $10 +UP Reward. After factoring in the $10 in rewards, your net cost will be $1.03 profit plus 3 free packages of razors.

8.  See it in action. Check out our YouTube video on CouponMom.com titled “How to Save at Rite Aid” to learn more. Rite Aid has several savings programs that you can combine to get great deals and free items every week. The Rite Aid Deals List on CouponMom.com will do the work of figuring out how to combine Rite Aid’s programs to get the best deals.
