Attention Houston members: Paul of IHearthemart.com and his wife Tiffany of MyLitter.com are organizing an effort in Houston to collect food and supplies for families impacted by the Oklahoma tornado. Jake’s Finer Foods has generously offered a driver and semi truck for a trip to Moore, OK and they are helping them fill the truck. If you live in or near the Houston area and can donate any items to help fill the truck, here are details:
The truck willl be at the Kroger Grocery Store in The Woodlands, 6700 Woodlands Pkwy, The Woodlands, TX 77382
- Saturday 8am – 2pm & Sunday 11am – 4pm
They also need 4 volunteers for 2 hours shifts each day… Saturday 8-10am, 10-12am, and 12-2pm. Also Sunday 11-1pm, 1-3 pm and then 2-4pm.

Supplies needed:
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrushes
- Soap and laundry detergent
- Canned Foods with easy open lids
- Individual Snacks-Chips, Granola Bars
- Baby items – Diapers, wipes, etc.
- Healthy Ready to eat meals
- Hand Sanitizer
- CLEANING SUPPLIES!!!
- Paper Towels
- Trash Bags
- Pet Food
- NO CLOTHING–it is too difficult to sort and distribute at this point
