Seriously, Halloween can get expensive–especially when it comes to buying Halloween candy. You never want to run out of candy for Trick-or-Treaters, so if you wait too long you’ll end up paying full price for more candy than you’ll need. The key to saving is to stock up on sale-priced candy at CVS with coupons well ahead of Halloween (like this week!). If you’re saving 50-75% on candy, it’s OK to buy extra. I make sure to hide it so my family doesn’t eat it all before the 31st!
Of course, with all the candy we know our kids will eat, it’s even more important to make sure they brush their teeth with toothpaste they like. Let’s be honest, we eat our share of candy too.
