Cut Your Grocery Bill In Half! with Stephanie Nelson, The Coupon Mom

Hi everyone! Deal manager Ana here to help break down my shopping trip to CVS this week. I found some pretty great deals and ended up getting $113 worth of items for only a net cost of under $3! When you’re shopping on a budget, that’s my kinda store trip! Most items purchased were on sale and I matched coupons with each item on my list. The Schick razors and Kotex Tampons were my favorite deals this week because they are items I use and they were FREE! Both items were on sale and I was able to match printable coupons and score some extra bucks for future purchases! The Zantac is also free –  just make sure to send back the mail-in rebate and add it to your Savingstar account before your shopping trip.
When I was checking out, I made sure to lay each coupon I had with the item it was for to keep everything in order. I already had all of my coupons in order because I printed and clipped them all before I left for CVS and kept them handy so that I could go through them as I put items into my shopping cart. Then I used extra bucks that I had gotten from previous store trips so I only ended up paying a couple dollars at the register (roll those ECB’s!).

I got 18 items from this trip and only paid a total of $2.69! Most of these items are great to donate to charity too! Make sure you keep the extra bucks you earned in a safe place and use them before they expire because they work like cash for CVS. Also make sure that you are signed up for the cashback apps like Ibotta and Checkout 51 to get money back on lots of everyday items!
