This week we shopped at Walgreens and got $149 of deals FREE with a profit of 74 cents!  If you buy an item, you will get a special register coupon for 5,000 Balance Rewards points on a future purchase of $15 (valid for 3 days). Since you need to buy the 3 tubes of Colgate toothpaste in 3 different transactions to earn one Register Reward on each tube,  buy one Colgate toothpaste as your first transaction to  get the 5,000 bonus coupon to use on the second transaction which will be the major purchase.  Because this offer may vary by region, you can test it by getting one free Colgate item first. Then buy the 3rd tube in a third transaction.

Transaction #1:  Buy 1 tube of Colgate toothpaste (the Register Reward variety) in its own transaction first, and you will get the 5,000 point coupon

Transaction #2: Buy the following items in the same transaction, using the 5,000 point coupon at the beginning.  Also have the cashier scan the in-ad coupon on the first page of the ad that gives you 5X Everyday Points when you spend $10 or more.  You can also go to the Walgreens website and opt in for this so you don’t have to remember the coupon.
