Procter & Gamble has come out with a fabulous promotion. Every time shoppers use one of their coupons from the April 6th Brandsaver coupon circulars from the Sunday newspaper, P&G will donate one liter of bottled water to help people in third world countries who do not have access to clean water. More than 1 billion people around the world do not have access to clean, safe water. Every day, more than 4,000 children die from diseases caused by drinking unsafe, dirty water.
In addition, every time someone visits the special website (www.givePURwater.org ) that P&G developed to explain this program, another liter of water will be donated. Their goal is to donate 50 million bottles of water.
